About Dr. Paulina Herrera

Dra. Nydia Paulina Herrera Ríos is an obstetrician-gynecologist trained at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (medical degree 2011, residency at Hospital Universitario "Dr. José Eleuterio González", 2017) with advanced training in breast disease (mastology) at Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM, 2018). She directs the UNEME DEDICAM, the public women’s cancer detection and diagnosis unit of the state of Nuevo León, where women with suspicious mammograms from across the state are evaluated. She is a member of the Mexican Society of Mastology and co-author of chapters in the textbook Imagenología (El Manual Moderno). She sees private patients at Hospital Ángeles Valle Oriente.
